Silent Weekend Game:

The weekend of September 11th and 12th are Silent Weekend.  What is Silent Weekend, for those who did not participate last year, it is where we prohibit the Coaches and Parents to verbally address the players and Referees and encourage only positive cheering, horns, drums, banners, posters etc. as ways to support the Game, the Referee and the Players.  Too many times we are critical of play in the game, Silent Weekend is a way to give the game back to the children and just be there to support them.  We ask that all of you attend the games and full spirit, with banners, noise makers, posters etc.  The SYSA team that shows the most spirit will win gifts donated by local supporters and The Columbus Crew from the MLS.

 
Youth Soccer Appreciation Days:

a.     Thursday September 23rd 5pm

b.    Saturday October 9th 1 pm

Players wear your SYSA jersey and get in free to the game (parents/coaches still have to pay)

The SYSA day with The Columbus Crew

Sunday October 24th 4pm. For all SYSA players wearing their SYSA Jersey, they will play a pre game on the Crew fields with players and mascot.  Tickets are $25.(read details).
